T4 Reflection

This term my favorite piece of work was one of my water safety activities, we only did water safety for the first 3 weeks. Thanks for commenting on my blog this year, I look forward to sharing my work with you next year. I will still be in Mamaku next year but Mamaku 2 not Mamaku 3.😉😉😉😉

This week we started doing Christmas stuff for literacy.  There were two things we could do. The first one was re-writing the twelve days of Christmas song and the second on was persuading Santa to let up on his good list.  I chose to persuade Santa.

Numeracy Reflection T4W7

This week we started Christmas activity's for numeracy. one of the activity's was called Christmas jokes that is what I did but I didn't finish it here are the ones that I did finish. 
We did not get much numeracy time because we had to practice our Christmas consert.

Well what are you waiting for? Come on up!

I recommend this book to people that like Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. 

Aaron Cruden Beginners Guide To Rugby

In Aaron Cruden beginners guide to rugby there is 7 different chapters about skills you need in rugby. This book really helped me developed skills for my first rugby season. I recommend this book if you want to get some better skills in rugby. There is some chapters that tell you about his journey and how he had cancer at such a young age, I did not know that. There is also a chapter about what rugby is and some of the history.

This week for literacy we did a  we did an explanation burger about why we have Wisdom teeth.  We also made a word cloud. For word work I made a silly story using some of my words, some of it will probably not make any sense.

This week for literacy we had to finish of our follow up from last week, and then we started our follow up for this week, I did not finish, nobody did in my group finished.  We also did word work, I chose to add my words.

Setting: The setting is at the League field, his house and the school Liam goes to.

For 30bc I have been reading a book called Billy Slater Chip and Chase.  This book is about league. There is someone called Liam McGill, he is the team captain. He is really good at league but he struggles a bit with school work. His dad said if he does not up his grades he will have to cwit leauge.

Literacy Reflection

This week for literacy we wrote a peace of writing, one to entertain, one to inform and one to persuade. For writing this week we have been working on myths and legends, my myth writing was about a unicorn.

Test Reflection

For our test we had to do the Kiwi Kids News test for the  week and typing practice. I got all of the questions right in the Kiwi Kids News test. I got a really good speed for the typing test. I can't wait to do this next week.

Athletics Reflection T4W3

This week we did athletics. My favorite event was the sprints or the shot put. I got into the final twice for the sprints, the distance was 80 meters and 50 meters.  I  wanted to do long jump but I had to go to swimming so I missed it. I hope I am in the Grey District for athletics, I really enjoyed the athletics.

Topic Reflection T4W3

This week for topic we worked on water safety, I have finished two of the four activity's. The ones that I have been doing are about being careful were you swim and what you should do if someone gets in danger. I found these easy.

Numeracy Reflection T4W3

This week for numeracy we were still working on our position and orientation, me and my buddy worked on a task named Treasure Island, we had to find the  co-ordinates, I thought that this was really hard because the things that we had to find out were not on a line so the went all something .5 that made them hard.

Literacy Reflection

This week we had to finish of what we had to do last week. I was finished, and we did test's so we didn't have much literacy time, I did a little bit word work.  I also did read a lot of my 30bc book, I am reading Billy Slater Chip and Chase. We also had to write what we thought a artecal was for, to inform, persuader or to entertain.

Test Reflection

We did a test in the test we had a Kiwi Kids News quiz and a typing test. I didn't know what the name of the health group that has a logo to stop drinking sugary drinks.

This week we continued on with our Position and Orientation, this week me and my buddy did 5 activity's. I found some of these activity's hard but the other ones easy.  Here is our slide.

This week for literacy we had to write what the authors purpose was to write a book, we put our answer in a padlet. We also had a drawing that had 3 paragraphs in it and we had to write what we thought the paragraphs was, they were earthier to persuade, entertain or inform you.
