Billy Slater Try Time is a book when Josh starts playing rugby league and he on his opening game he had a chance to score a try and win the opening game for his team but he dropped it and Corry the center came over to him and said well done butterfingers. Then later on that season his NRL hero Billy Slater started to come to there team training's and Billy help Josh learn how to catch a ball.

Literacy

For literacy we did the Tale of Peter Rabbit. We used a new website, its like bubble.us like we used to use but it is called Coggle. Here is my one. We also had to make sentences with Maori language and our fanboys. Our fanboys are For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So.

Numeracy

For numeracy our WALT was know groupings of 10’s and 100’s in a 4 digit number. We had to do some examples. Here mine are, I thought that this was pretty easy once I figured out a way to work it out.

Olympics Reflection T3 W5

Olympics 

For our Olympics this week we sticked with Olympics and this week it is our last week doing Olympics for topic, we did events in the Olympics, my 3 events were Rugby 7s, Hockey and High Jump.

Dirty Bertie Rats.

 Dirty Bertie Rats is about Bertie wanting to get a rat, then his sister points out that there is a hole in his box of cereal and then his Mum grabs the box and looks at it and the she blamed Bertie, then Bertie said it was not me why do I always get the blame.

Then his Mum looked in the cupboard and she saw rat poo, the she screamed, WE HAVE RATS.

Dirty Bertie Burp

Dirty Bertie had to take his dog into this training, Bertie had to take his dog there because his dog would never listen to him, but he always followed him. At the end off the training's they had to do a test and the dog always followed Bertie so Bertie did the test and his dog followed it and he past.

The Bad Book

The bad book is a book written by Andy Griffiths and Illustrated by Terry Denton, the bad book is a is a book full of bad story's, a lot of them are funny, I recommend this to you if you like Andy Griffiths. There is bad jokes, bad story's, bad rimes, that is what Andy Griffiths is good at.

Wacky Wednesday

This year wacky Wednesday was extra wacky because it was on Thursday. Wacky Wednesday is a day that we can dress up and stuff like that, also the teacher's dress up and this year they were wearing onesies.

Door Display

Every Book Week we do a door display. This year since we have got our new class room we have two doors so there is two books on our doors so the there is the BFG. For the BFG we made his legs so it looked like the rest of his body was out the roof. We also wrote dreams so that people that walk past would be able to pick up dreams. Then there was Charlie and the chocolate factory, we made an oompa loompa and we also colored in sweets like chocolate and candy canes. 

 Golden Tickets

This book week for something new, Mrs Costello put out golden tickets, if we found them we would get a prize the prize would be a big box of book's with really cool book's. There was 1 golden ticket hidden some wear around the school eeveryday, my friend's found one of the golden tickets and they got 3 book's each. 

Book Character Day

Book character is always on Friday, book character day is th

e day that we always dress up as someone from a book and that is where it gets it's name. We always get up on the stage class by class and we tell the rest off the school, this year I came as a Highlander witch is a rugby team.

Buddy Reading

Buddy reading is when younger kids come to us and we read to them or they read to us, the class rooms that come down is room 6 and room 15, my buddy is in room 6 and his name is Dylan, Dylan make's up jokes that don't make sense but we still laugh. He is a good reader.

Worm's 

When we went to the library and got out a book we could have a guess how many gummy worm's was in the jar, I had a random guess and I just said 136, I don't think that it's right, it would be nice if that was the correct number because if it is we get the jar of gummy worm's.
