We were exploring patterns and my pattern was increasing by 4 each time.

Today we are going to take the SD cards and put the first xv game file onto one of the Mac computers. The  super rugby file was to big of a file to download.

Today we are going to get the camera and tripod and we are going to work out how to use it, Mr Hansen is going to help us out so we know how to do use it properly.

Today we are going to put in our code into Hudle, we are also going to download a game onto the mac computer so we can finally start analysing some matches.

Yesterday we talked to Jimmy about getting a video downloading app on one of the computers so we can download game files.  Today we are going to try and find some more full games to download so when we get the code for Hudle we can start analysing.

 Today we are going to get download some game files and hopefully get the code into Hudle Sports code and start breaking them down.

 Last week we did pretty well, we were on a zoom call with Simon from Hudle, he has said that he is going to give us a 30 day free trial so we can do some Analysing.  This week we are hopefully going to get game files if not we will have to record some and download them.

 Yesterday we were on a zoom call with Simon from Hudle, we are going to have a 30 day free trial so we can do our analysis.  Today we are going email a few people and get some more people to talk to about analysis.

Today my learning outcome is - I would like to have completely set up the analysis software that we are using.  

Today my success criteria is -  To get the analysis software done and emailing the guy from West Coast rugby and ask for game clips. 

Yesterday we worked out how to install the software onto the computers and how to use it.

Week 4 - 11th August.

How to analyse a game of rugby. We wanted to be able to successfully do rugby analysis. 

We are going to ask for help from different super rugby teams and how thing work. 

We are going to share our work on our blogs.

We will know that we are successful we we can analyse a full game of rugby and break it down into different parts.

Today Will and I are going to make a call to a Highlanders player to help us out. We are also going to call back the Hurricanes analysis coach and ask him a few questions. We are also going to try out the different Analysis websites to use. 

Period two week two

Yesterday we called the Crusaders and got the email of there analysis coach Jon Gardner. Today we are getting a call from the Highlanders and emailing Northland rugby's analysis coach to ask for him to help us out.

Week 3 work

Last week we called the Northland Analysis coach, he is going to send us some super rugby game files and recommended us some Analysis websites to use.  This week we are going to try out those different websites and call back some of the super rugby teams.  When we are waiting for the email we are going to get Will's sky go and watch a game that is on there. 

Week 2 period one

Yesterday we were very successful, we called all five super rugby teams and got through to two of them. We were not able to talk to the Analysis coaches because they were at training's, they are going to call back so we can talk to them about what software they use and how we can access game files. 

Week One QWEST - Rugby Analysis

For QWEST this term we are doing a passion project, me Alex and Will are doing Rugby Analysis. For this we are breaking down different games and looking at the different strategies that different Super Rugby Aotearoa teams use. Our next step is to get access to game files and find the best Analysis software.
